An investigation is underway to determine the cause of a truck accident that involved two tractor-trailers on Interstate 29. Injuries have been reported, although the type and extent have not been released. The crash occurred Feb. 9, 2010.
The truck accident occurred on Interstate 29 near Dearborn, MO. According to Missouri Highway Patrol, one tractor-trailer was carrying milk and the other was carrying soda. The truck hauling milk crashed down an embankment into a creek, and the truck full of soda ended up on the shoulder of the highway.
The two trucks were reportedly heading south at the time of the accident. Emergency crews closed down one lane on the highway immediately following the truck accident to clear debris from the accident.
The cause of the tractor-trailer accident is still being investigated.
